The Dutch Council of State has ruled that semiconductor production equipment maker ASML can proceed with its expansion at its headquarters in Veldhoven, dismissing objections from two neighbors regarding traffic and noise issues. The court stated that building facilities below ground was not feasible due to the sensitive nature of the machines ASML uses. This expansion aims to accommodate ASML's growth needs, while the company has also planned a larger project in Eindhoven to accommodate more workers in the future.
