Dutch Prime Minister Rutte leads a new government consisting of 16 ministers and 13 state secretaries, with the far-right Freedom Party gaining control of the ministries of Economy, Foreign Trade Development, Asylum and Immigration, Infrastructure, and Public Health in the coalition government. The youngest minister in the cabinet, Breyman, has previously advocated for joint efforts among EU and like-minded European countries to uphold the status quo in the Taiwan Strait and enhance cooperation with Taiwan. Prime Minister Rutte vows to implement the strictest asylum policies and comprehensive immigration control plans in Dutch history.
