On July 3, 2024, at 4:10 PM, E-Ton's Indian subsidiary TEMICO announced the successful acquisition of a major order from a leading electric vehicle manufacturer in India. The order includes 5,000 direct-drive power systems for 9-meter and 12-meter electric buses and 50,000 power systems for light commercial vehicles. The three-year contract is set to commence mass delivery from the first quarter of 2025. This significant achievement in the Indian market signifies E-Ton's commitment to localized production and expanding market share, in line with Indian government policies, boosting Taiwan's electric vehicle industry overseas.
