Taipei City's Wenshan District saw a 71-year-old man surnamed Wu go missing after wandering off due to dementia. Concerned relatives immediately sought help from the police, prompting Deputy Chief Huang Jianzhan and officer Guo Jie'an of the Muzha Police Precinct to swiftly launch a search operation. Using the information provided by Wu's family, the officers managed to locate him within an hour and ensure his safe return home. The police advise citizens to pay extra attention to family members with dementia, mental health issues, or elderly individuals by equipping them with identification tags, trackers, or contact information on clothing to aid in quick reunions when needed.
