The 'Datongcheng Summer Festival' took place at the Datongcheng Pier and Yanping Riverside Park on July 17, 2024, with the first 300-second themed fireworks show attracting 66,000 people to gather and enjoy together, with the heart-shaped fireworks particularly eye-catching, allowing people to celebrate Qixi (Chinese Valentine's Day) in advance. The event also featured outdoor concerts by bands like Baodao Materials and singer AhhG, with the main fireworks show set for August 10 at 8 p.m in Datongcheng. With around 500 police officers dispatched for traffic control, attendees were able to enjoy the fireworks show and return home safely.
