During an interview at the 216th National Quality Management Conference, where she received the 'National Potential Circle Leader' award, Chien Shucheng, the head nurse of the Kaohsiung General Hospital in the Taiwan military, pointed out the successful implementation of the 'Mission Must Be Achieved Circle' focusing on policy, medical treatment, and discharge preparation, leading to significant improvements in morning discharge rates for patients. This initiative not only enhanced patient flow and reduced waiting times but also strengthened communication among hospital departments, optimized workflow and workload for staff, and increased job satisfaction. Chien emphasized the importance of early intervention in preparing patients for discharge, which contributed to improved patient outcomes and reduced waiting times, benefitting both patients and their families.
