Private East Mountain High School in Taipei had a high demand for enrollment, but this year, they exceeded the limit by admitting 142 extra students. These students, who had already registered, received uniforms, and completed summer homework, were suddenly informed they couldn't attend, leaving parents furious. Despite dedicating 8 years to preparing for East Mountain and rejecting other schools, their children were abandoned. The Education Bureau promised strict punishment for the school's actions.
