The Statistical Department of the Economic Affairs Ministry released the 'Export Order Overseas Production Survey,' uncovering eight major findings. These include the shifting supply chain layout with a trend towards localization, a decrease in production ratios in China, a rise in ASEAN production ratios, and the increasing competition from Mainland China-based enterprises. The survey also highlighted that the majority of external orders were for in-house production, the leading reason for overseas production remained in response to customer demands, and the trend of localizing sales and production continued with a focus on the ASEAN region.
