Economic Minister Guo Zhuihui stated in a legislative session that Taiwan did not lack electricity, but just two hours later, there was a power outage in the internal medicine department. Guo clarified in the afternoon that it was not due to a shortage of electricity but a power outage caused by cable issues. He emphasized the need to enhance maintenance based on high-risk indicators, as discovered incidents mostly occurred in crowded areas with older equipment. Despite concerns of power shortages, Guo assured that prompt reinforcement repairs would prevent such issues in the future.
