The Executive Yuan has approved the promotion of Liǎn Jǐnzhāng as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Yáng Zhìqīng, the Director-General of the Department of Industrial Development, has been appointed as the new Director-General, receiving high expectations. Liǎn Jǐnzhāng's promotion comes after the retirement of the previous Deputy Minister, Lín Yuánnéng. Liǎn Jǐnzhāng, with a background in forestry, has held various positions in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is recognized for his capabilities in overseeing cross-sector operations.
