Chief Economist Mark Zandi from Moody's Analytics has stated there is a 33% chance of a recession occurring within the next year, emphasizing the need for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates promptly. He argues that while recessions occur roughly every 6 to 7 years, the current high probability will increase until the Fed implements rate cuts.
