Economists are divided on whether Singapore's central bank will adjust its monetary policy in light of unexpected economic growth. While six out of twelve analysts believe the Monetary Authority of Singapore may loosen its policy to address a potential economic gap, the other six expect no changes. This comes after the economy showed a 1.4% quarter-on-quarter growth in Q2, following two previous policy easings in January and April. Analysts are cautious, citing global uncertainties and projecting possible future economic slowdowns.
