Ecopetrol has confirmed an agreement with Repsol to acquire its 45% stake in Block CPO-09, reached on December 29th. While the agreement has been made, the final closing is pending due to unmet conditions such as approvals from the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce and the National Hydrocarbons Agency. Ecopetrol will provide updates on the transaction as it progresses.
