Education Vice Minister Yeh denies report of making 300 million profit from online courses

The rumored profit of 300 million NT dollars generated by the online courses promoted by Vice Minister of Education Yeh Beng-Chong has been denied by him, clarifying that it is not the figure people assume. Yeh Beng-Chong, who is known for his background as a professor at National Taiwan University and the founder of the experimental educational school Unbounded Academy, addressed the issue during his first appearance at the Legislative Yuan Education and Culture Committee, emphasizing that his assets will be declared according to the law. He explained that the sales figures of the online courses were not as rumored, as they often begin with discounted prices, averting any concerns from the public.
