Reported 8 months ago

On June 15, 2024, the Minister of National Defense, Gu Li Xiong, will report to the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee of the Legislative Yuan on the procurement progress and effectiveness of the Sea-Air Power Enhancement Program. The report shows that only the procurement progress of carrier ships lagged, with other projects meeting the standards. The planned projects for missile production and military facilities have progressed as scheduled, with the exception of the Tuo Chiang class ships due to delays in the delivery of STIR radar. The program has received a new budget for 2024 to continue building various equipment and military facilities.
