In response to various controversies surrounding imported eggs, Minister of Agriculture Chen Junji personally clarified the issue today. Following last year's egg shortages, the Ministry of Agriculture imported eggs from overseas to alleviate the crisis, but one company, Super-Thinking, has been heavily scrutinized by the opposition party, suspecting wrongdoing. With the recent passage of the parliamentary reform bill, the Super-Thinking case will be the first investigation by parliament. Minister Chen stated that this should be investigated by judicial units and addressed the contract dispute with Super-Thinking, explaining it was a misunderstanding of annual information. He emphasized the importance of waiting for evidence before making speculations, respecting all investigations by the judicial units.
