Da Wushan, Taiwan's largest egg-laying farm, debuted on the stock market at 57.13 yuan per share today (6/13), but due to a 2-year low in egg prices, the stock opened below the offering price at 53.1 yuan and closed with a 7.05% decrease. Investors who won shares in the lottery are now facing a loss of 4 thousand yuan per share. Despite the egg price fluctuations, Da Wushan remains optimistic about market prices as they mainly produce various egg products. The recent drop in egg prices, hitting a new low in 2 years, affected the market performance of Da Wushan, causing a 13% intraday plunge to 49.5 yuan and ultimately closing down by 7.05%.
