In recent times, egg prices have been steadily decreasing, and even some southern suppliers are saying there are too many eggs that they are feeding them to pigs. With the drop in prices at the source, major retailers are also adjusting prices. Supermarket leader '全聯' announced that starting tomorrow, boxed eggs will be reduced to 47 yuan per box, equivalent to 4.7 yuan per egg; Carrefour's regular temperature washed and selected eggs with 10 pieces are priced at 50 to 55 yuan, a decrease of about 4 to 6 yuan compared to last month. Costco stated that the price reductions in the market are mainly caged eggs, while pasture eggs maintain their original price.
