Egg Supply and Demand Imbalance: Dacheng Group Says Recovery Takes Time

Reported 9 months ago

Recently, there has been an imbalance in the supply and demand of eggs leading to a drop in egg prices. The chairman of Dacheng Group, Han Jiayu, mentioned that it will take some time for the market to recover. The Dacheng egg washing and sorting factory holds half of the market share and is planning to collaborate with Japan's Showa to establish an egg processing factory. The company continues to plan capital expenditures to expand production capacity in the United States, mainland China, and Taiwan for food, egg products, and pet food, remaining cautiously optimistic about the market this year. Han also highlighted the company's transition from agriculture and animal husbandry to food processing, with ongoing expansion projects in various regions including Taiwan, where they are investing in a food processing factory with a sizable production capacity.
