On June 26, 2024, the Taiwan Stock Market closed with the Weighted Index up 110.72 points at 22,986.69, a 0.48% increase, with a trading volume of 462.34 billion NT. According to data from Play Stock Net, the top stock purchased by the eight state-owned banks today is financial stock Mega Financial Holding with a purchase of 14,012 shares, followed by plastic company Formosa Plastics and electrical cable company Walsin Lihwa with 9,606 and 7,033 shares bought respectively. Evergreen Marine also joined the list of the top buys by state-owned banks, sparking online comments like 'Can the containers soar tomorrow?', 'Buying ships, Evergreen falls' and 'Buying Evergreen to participate in the dividend distribution'.
