In mid-June, an elderly couple in Tainan's North District urgently needed medical attention, but emergency responders found their house filled with so much junk that they couldn't enter. It took a crane and a relay effort about 1.5 hours to rescue them. As the news of the garbage-filled house spread, nearly a hundred volunteers gathered to clean the couple's home, removing around 20 tons of rubbish. The cleaning effort restored cleanliness to the community. The incident highlighted the importance of regularly decluttering homes to maintain safety and prevent similar events from occurring in the future.
