On June 19, 2024, an elderly couple in their 80s in Tainan faced difficulties when they fell ill at home. The daughter found her parents unwell, with the father having a high fever and unable to go downstairs to seek medical help, while the mother was weak. The ambulance crew faced challenges due to the excessive clutter in the house. It took 1.5 hours, with the father being lowered using a crane and the mother carried out on a stretcher. The couple is now in stable condition.
