An 86-year-old couple in Tainan had their home filled with clutter until recent health issues forced them to seek medical help. Nearly a hundred volunteers from the local district office, Tzu Chi volunteers, and the Environmental Protection Bureau cooperated in a relay effort to clear around 20 tons of rubbish. The cluttered home made it difficult for paramedics to provide timely assistance, requiring over an hour of collaborative effort to safely remove the elderly couple for medical treatment. The successful cleanup aimed at creating a safer and more comfortable living environment for the family and emphasized the importance of regular decluttering to maintain home safety.
