Recent conflicts over seat disputes in China have escalated to violence, with a recent incident involving an elderly lady on a flight from Qingdao to Shenyang refusing to move from a seat she took from a young woman who had reserved it in advance through efforts like setting alarms and queuing for tickets at dawn. The situation worsened when the elderly lady began verbally abusing the young woman and even threatened physical violence, leading to chaos onboard.
