In a bizarre incident on the Taipei Metro, a 75-year-old man named Wang assaulted a 29-year-old man named Yin on the MRT for not giving up his seat. Wang demanded the seat reserved for passengers in need, but when Yin refused, a female passenger spoke up in Yin's defense. This led to a heated argument, resulting in Wang physically assaulting Yin before both parties alighted at a station. Taipei Metro police arrived on the scene, and Yin filed a report for assault. This incident comes shortly after another altercation over a priority seat on the same metro line.
