In Taichung's Tanzi District on June 12, an elderly man surnamed Bao, 73, was tragically killed in a car accident while taking his 11-year-old granddaughter to school, after a bus brushed against them and a following connected vehicle ran over them. Bao suffered a deformed head on-site, resulting in his death, while the granddaughter sustained multiple scrapes on her limbs. Further investigation is needed to clarify the exact cause of the accident, as surveillance footage will be reviewed by the police for more information.
