On June 23, 2024, at 2 pm in Beitun District, Taichung City, a 70-year-old man fell from a bridge near Da Keng Mountain area. Initially mistaken by passersby as enjoying the view, the man suddenly disappeared, prompting them to notify the police. Despite emergency medical efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries and was unable to be saved. The incident is currently under investigation to determine the cause of death.
