A 74-year-old elderly man went missing suddenly in Sanxiantai, Taitung, today. He was found trapped in a crevice in the Taroko Gorge around 1 pm. Rescuers discovered multiple abrasions on his body, and he was sent to the hospital for treatment. The man fell into the crevice due to being unfamiliar with the terrain but was luckily rescued without life-threatening injuries. Authorities remind the public to prioritize safety when participating in coastal activities and report emergencies promptly to ensure everyone's safety.
