On June 16, 2024, in the morning at 1:31 AM, financial expert Xie Jinhe's name was repeatedly used for scams, leading to a woman in Tainan falling victim to a fraud group. She was tricked into thinking that meeting face-to-face at her home for transactions would be safe. After being scammed ten times, she lost 12 million cash. When she was asked to pay an additional 1 million as guarantee money for profits, she finally realized the deception. The scammers were subsequently arrested after a police operation, with ongoing efforts to catch others involved in the scam.
