Amidst the recent hot weather, a 92-year-old woman surnamed Lin in Longtan District, Taoyuan City, was found sitting on the road due to heat exhaustion while she was returning home alone after attending a gathering at a temple. Passersby promptly alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and safely escorted the elderly woman back home in a patrol car when her family could not be reached immediately.
