On July 5, 2024, officers Li Jeeru and Zheng Baoyuan from the Wenshan First Police Precinct in Taipei helped an elderly woman surnamed Lin, who appeared to have dementia, find her way home after she was found wandering in the middle of the road struggling to remember where she lived. The officers contacted nearby nursing homes for information and provided comfort to the woman, eventually locating her residence and learning about her condition. The incident highlighted the importance of caring for the elderly and taking precautions to prevent accidents, such as labeling clothes with names and contact information or wearing a bracelet for identification purposes.
