Tesla achieved a milestone by surpassing 5,800 registrations in Taiwan this quarter, setting a new brand record. The electric vehicle market in the first half of 2024 saw strong performances with 18,140 EVs sold, surpassing the total for the entire year of 2022. Tesla, Luxgen, and BMW dominated the market in June with a total of 5,919 registrations, contributing to the overall 6,572 electric vehicles registered that month. Local brand MG4 made an impressive entry into the top ten with 122 registrations in a single month, hinting at a promising future for the EV market in Taiwan.
