In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the Criminal Investigation Bureau announced the bust of a gambling money laundering group operating an illegal gambling website, laundering a staggering 5.1 billion. Utilizing multiple locations and recruiting individuals through job advertisements, the group evaded authorities by transferring funds through overseas accounts. The breakthrough came with the help of Taiwan's first electronic detection dog, Wafer, who located crucial evidence hidden by the suspects. Wafer, trained in the US, can detect electronic devices and has aided in solving three major cases since arriving in Taiwan last year.
