Nvidia announced that Eli Lilly will purchase more than 1,000 Blackwell Ultra GPUs to develop an AI supercomputer aimed at expediting drug discovery. This AI-enabled system will help in various areas like genomics and personalized medicine, while also making advanced models available to external companies via Lilly's TuneLab AI platform. The partnership is part of Lilly's broader $50 billion initiative to enhance its manufacturing and R&D capabilities in the U.S.
