ISS has joined Glass Lewis in advising against reinstating Tesla CEO Elon Musk's voided multibillion dollar pay package. The $44.9 billion package was previously valued at $56 billion in January. ISS criticized the package for failing to align Musk's financial interests with Tesla stockholders, with concerns about Musk's time spent on other ventures remaining unaddressed. Glass Lewis and ISS both recommended against the compensation package due to its potential dilution of shareholder value, despite Tesla's claim that it incentivized Musk to create over $735 billion in shareholder value since its approval in 2018.
