Billionaire Elon Musk stated he would prohibit Apple Inc. devices from his companies if OpenAI's AI software is integrated into the operating system, citing security concerns. This comes after Apple announced plans to offer OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot through Siri later this year. Musk, who co-founded OpenAI, has expressed worries about the rapid advancement of generative AI technology and is developing his own ChatGPT competitor. He warned that if Apple proceeds with OpenAI integration at the OS level, Apple devices will be banned at his companies, requiring visitors to store their devices in a Faraday cage to block electromagnetic fields.
