Emilia Clarke shared in an interview how she feared losing her role in 'Game of Thrones' due to two brain aneurysms she experienced while playing Daenerys Targaryen. She discussed her insecurities returning to set post-surgery, worrying about being fired and the possibility of a relapse, stating, 'If I’m going to die, I better die on live TV.' Clarke, who started the charity SameYou to support brain injury victims, also disclosed losing 'quite a bit' of her brain during the surgeries but is grateful for her recovery and now aids others in similar situations.
