The Central Weather Bureau has warned of rising temperatures nationwide, with the risk level reaching the highest category 4 for heat hazards. Employers failing to provide necessary measures such as shade facilities, fans, and resting areas can be fined up to 150,000 without a grace period, aiming to protect outdoor workers from heat-related risks. The amendment is expected to be enforced by the end of July, as the focus on preventing heat hazards intensifies due to increasing extreme heat in Taiwan.
