Energy Transfer has announced the construction of the new Hugh Brinson pipeline, a $2.7 billion project designed to connect natural gas production from the Permian Basin to major markets in Texas. Built in two phases, the first phase involves a 400-mile pipeline capable of transporting 1.5 billion cubic feet per day, set to be operational by late 2026. This project aims to bolster Energy Transfer’s infrastructure capabilities and enhance access to critical demand centers in the state.
