Chen emphasized the government's commitment to progressing towards a non-nuclear home and developing a variety of green energy sources as part of the second phase of energy transition to ensure stable and secure electricity supply. She also addressed the need for continuous improvement in power grid resilience and highlighted the importance of rational and practical discussions on nuclear waste management and nuclear safety as prerequisites for future energy choices and the overall energy policy governance towards a sustainable society by 2050.
