Eni's retail and renewable business, Plenitude, is prepared to list on the Milan bourse as soon as favorable market conditions allow, according to CEO Stefano Goberti. Initially postponed in 2022 due to the energy crisis triggered by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Plenitude engaged with investors and signed a deal with Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP) in December. EIP invested nearly 600 million euros in Plenitude, valuing the company at around 10 billion euros, and Goberti mentioned readiness for the IPO pending improved market conditions and less volatility in the energy and renewables sector.
