During this year's Dragon Boat Festival, which spans a 3-day holiday period, some people choose to travel, causing traffic congestion on some roads and around tourist attractions. To alleviate this, the Hsinchu District Supervisory Office urges drivers to stay patient, pay attention to road conditions, and follow traffic rules. Additionally, during the holiday, bus routes offer discounts to encourage the use of public transportation, reducing the risk of accidents. From June 7 to 10, passengers on selected 89 national bus routes can enjoy discounted fares or 15% off regular fares. Passengers using the same electronic card for Taiwan Railways, High-Speed Rail, and national buses can also get a free ride or mileage within 10 hours of transfer. For those traveling to the eastern part of Taiwan from today until the 10th, additional rental discounts or 'One Free for Every Four Travelers' offers are available. People are advised to utilize public transport to travel to tourist spots, avoiding traffic congestion and reducing accident risks.
