On June 20th, a radical environmental group in the UK illegally entered a London airport and accessed a VIP parking area with the intention of spraying paint on a private plane believed to belong to pop singer Taylor Swift to protest against wealthy individuals wasting resources and polluting the environment. Two members of the group were arrested, but British authorities later confirmed that the plane they spray-painted was not Taylor Swift's. This incident followed a similar paint-spraying incident at a historic site the previous day, sparking public outrage and condemnation from political leaders.
