As the aviation industry sees a significant recovery, Taiwan's leading carrier, EVA Air (2618), has decided to give employees an additional 2 months of 'mid-year' bonuses, which were received today (June 28). This, combined with the 6 months of year-end bonuses from last year, totals to an enviable 8 months of bonuses. EVA Air's move to give out bonuses mid-year is in line with their high profits, with the company allocating a sum of 1.13 billion NT dollars for employee rewards. In addition to the mid-year bonuses, there have been salary raises for ground and cabin crew, as well as adjustments for pilots, making EVA Air's total bonus amount second only to Tigerair in the aviation industry. The company's focus on employee welfare and performance is evident as they aim to maintain high profits and reach new heights in the future.
