The documentary 'Master or Guest,' which took 5 years to plan and produce, narrates the evolution of the Hakka community over 300 years and reflects on the values of various ethnic groups in Taiwan. The premiere took place on the 19th and will kick off a nationwide tour starting from June 30. Through renowned musicians serving as storytellers, the documentary portrays the Hakka people's transition from temporary workers to a deeply rooted community in Taiwan, featuring interviews with scholars, elders, songs, dances, and animations to showcase the historical significance of the Hakka community on the island.
