Ernie Els secured his fourth career PGA Tour Champions victory by winning the Principal Charity Classic in Iowa. The South African golfer finished with a 7-under 65 at the Wakonda Club, defeating defending champion Stephen Ames by two strokes. Els eagled the par-5 15th and had a bogey-free round with five birdies, finishing at 21-under 195. The win marked his first victory since March 2023, with Ames coming in second after shooting a 66. Bernard Langer tied for third at 17 under, while Rod Pampling and David Duval also finished at 17 under.
