Meta has introduced 27 new real-time visual dashboards for each member state to facilitate third-party civic discourse and election monitoring. This action comes after the European Commission initiated an investigation into potential breaches of EU online content regulations by Meta's Facebook and Instagram platforms for their failure to address disinformation and deceptive advertising. The commission will continue to observe the implementation of these new features while formal procedures against Meta continue.
