EU Official Stresses Need for Effective China EV Price Agreement

A European Union official stated that any agreements with Chinese manufacturers on minimum prices for electric vehicles must be as effective and enforceable as recently imposed tariffs, which can be as high as 45.3%. Ongoing negotiations aim to establish minimum price commitments for imported cars, and EU trade officials are currently in talks with Chinese counterparts to discuss these terms.
