The European Commission's decision to implement tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) poses a risk to long-standing cooperation with China and jeopardizes climate objectives, according to Xinhua. Despite Germany's rejection of these tariffs, the EU has moved forward with them, leading to concerns about triggering a trade conflict.
