On June 24, 2024, EVA Air ranked 8th in the global airline ranking announced by Skytrax, with Qatar Airways dethroning last year's champion, Singapore Airlines. Starlux Airlines moved up 4 spots to 35th place, while China Airlines fell to 44th. The rankings are based on a survey of 21 million customers worldwide, evaluating about 350 airlines from 100 countries. Qatar Airways secured the top spot for the 8th time, with a fleet of 230 aircraft, including 10 Airbus A380 superjumbos.
